  1. Well, this is kind of philosophical in nature, and deep. What I believe is that the soul cannot be anhilated and vanished into nothingness, but once created, it remains.

Our body is temporary and will be separated from our souls on our death. Soul is a thing none of us understand the depth and reality of, just like we cannot fathom or feel the involuntary things in our own body.

    Interesting topic.

  2. Wow! Darshan you really read it and tried to go deep. I loved your questions.

I tried writing my perspective on your every question. Please enlighten me with your perspective.

    1. Why does death end suffering? Whose suffering ends on death? Is it the suffering of the body or the suffering of the soul?

I think, it is the attitude of the soul which tells us it is the suffering and pain or easy and gratefulness. In my view suffering does not end with death(if you feel it suffering) it continues with us until we learn the lesson from it and grow. In my view, It is the suffering of the body.

    2. If you are the soul, what is the meaning of soul?

Soul is me, body or outside world is not soul. The feelings, I feel Power, Peace, Happiness, Joy, Braveness that’s soul. Gratitude, when I share or when I pray. Joy, in a child or Happiness in world, Soul experience this. Soul is the inside person which always tells us what to do or what not to do(in my opinion)

    3. If life is an illusion of our mind. What is mind? How is that different from the soul? Does the mind also cease to exist upon death?

I think mind and soul is the same thing just the Different words. Whenever we do something, we always know inside what’s right, the Soul or Mind knows. Our Soul always warns us but we are so busy in material world we just ignore and pretend. Mind or Soul is the energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed.

    4. If life is an illusion in our mind and soul understands it, why will it strive for peace, power, knowledge, bravery etc.

What we live, when we come to Life is an illusion created by us. Our world is created by our own thoughts. As everyone’s perspective is different, everyone’s life is different. For me truth is something else and for you it will be totally different. Because we both have a past, a long journey we experienced, different things and so the Illusion created by everyone is different.

Soul always strive for the qualities like peace, power, knowledge, bravery because those are already in us. They just take back seat when we start living in material world and start ignoring our inner world. Material world is as important as our inner world but if me as a Soul is satisfied, is at peace, is in love with myself then the material world will be a happy world.

    5. What will stop soul to keep changing bodies? What happens when this process ends? Is it meaningful for the soul to strive for these. May be it is not aware of the illusion that life is. Or is it?

I keep on asking this question too. When this will stop or it will always keep going on till we learn or experience everything we need to.

I think it’s meaningful to strive for these qualities because that makes us humble and polite.
