People who say –
“It was so destined, it was so fated’,
succumb to destiny and hence, surrender.
Had they fought to prove their worth
and not resigned so early,
Endurance in them, could’ve turned the tide,
and fortune instead,
could’ve aided in their journey.
Nights drowned in absolute darkness,
had witnessed tremendous struggles.
Scribbled theories dampened with sweat,
had craved to rest for a while,
under those weary spectacles.
Irrespective of the startling outcomes,
inimical gestures had postponed their happiness.
As, comparison has over riden contentment these days,
to intentionally, make them feel useless.
Valid fears of losing again,
had refrained them from giving another attempt.
Had they restored faith in themselves,
to achieve, of what they had dreamt.
